Green Peanut Butter Smoothie

This is our spin on the Oh She Glows Green Monster Smoothie, and is a favourite in our house. Our toddler asks to make is most mornings (#momwin). It’s truly delicious, nourishing and energizing.

Recipe

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 3 handfuls of spinach

  • 2 tbsp ground flax seeds

  • 1 scoop protein powder

  • 1/4 avocado (optional, for texture)

  • 4 tbsp peanut butter (or other nut butter)

  • 1-2 cups milk alternative (we use cashew, macadamia or oat)

  • water to fill the rest of the blender

Method

Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend on high for 1-2 mins until very smooth. Nobody likes a chunky smoothie. Enjoy!
